BACKGROUND
During 2021 Gerhard Vermaak, the biologist and owner of Custom Chemistry, made a remakable breakthrough. He discovered an organism that, through photosynthesis, can generate up to 300 kg of carbon per hectare under ideal conditions. For the first time in history, various well-known micro-organisms could now function effectively, enabling them to make a real economic impact in agriculture. For instance, nitrogen-fixing bacteria could extract sufficient nitrogen from the atmosphere and placed it into the soil in a usable form for plants, providing an equivalent of 80N over an 8-week cycle. Custom Chemistry intuduced their products to the market under the Fulvigour brand. FulVigour’s groundbreaking and patented bio-agricultural products, deliver measurable results at a significantly reduced cost.

OUR TEAM
Chris joined the South African Air Force during 1997 as a pilot. After 7 years flying transport planes, he joined the civilian flying fraternity and qualified as a captain at SA-Express and CemAir. He flies corporate part-time and loves the outdoors and sports. During Covid, Chris was a sales manager for Deli-Co meat wholesalers, with Kaap Agri as one of his clients. Together with Melinda, they are raising their three kids in Cape Town. Chris is jointly responsible for representing BioVigour in the beautiful Westcoast, Winelands, and the Overberg.

Gert started his career in the South African Air Force during 1995 where he qualified as an engineer. Being interested in aircraft testing, he left the SAAF in 2003 to work in industry. He ventured to Europe for several years before completing his MSc in Mechanical Engineering at Stellenbosch. Being South African, he loves a braai, the outdoors and holds a private pilot’s license. As a father of two boys, he resides in Cape Town with his wife, Mardelle. Gert is jointly representing BioVigour in the Westcoast, Winelands and the Overberg.

Wouter joined the South African Army after school and qualified as an Industrial Engineer at Stellenbosch during 2001. With his vibrant and energetic personality, he joined the workforce in 2006 where he assisted businesses with his unique skillset. He worked for several consulting companies abroad and in South Africa. Together with his wife, Nina, and their four beautiful girls, they recently relocated to George. Wouter is representing BioVigour in the Garden Route, Heidelberg, and Swellendam.
